I believe that every person has one grand purpose which is bigger than the goals and purpose they choose for themselves.
That grand purpose is to evolve.
We take birth in a certain country, in a certain family, in a certain environment, so that we can live this grand purpose. And to find out what evolve means to me, specifically, I have to ask this question, everyday, "what is this setup trying to teach me?"
Whether I have supporting or unsupporting parents.
Whether I have supporting or unsupporting friends.
Whether I have supporting or unsupporting relatives.
Whether I have supporting or unsupporting partner.
It doesn't matter. Both ways I have something to figure out about myself and evolve.
People around me, who constantly hurt me, insult me, criticise me, blame me and de-value me are bringing that part of me out which needs seeing and healing.
In this setup, some people play the role of hero and some play villian. It is the role given to them, so I can become aware of my unhealed parts, fix them and evolve.
That being the case, the only feeling genuinely I could express for such people is that of gratitude. They are doing me a favor.
Yes, the experience of hearing them and being with them is very hurtful. No doubt. No argument there. But now, if I understand that this setup and these people are helping me only; this whole movie is about me, then I shift my focus from the temporary feelings of hurt to addressing my unhealed parts.
If this makes sense to you right now, then good.
If it doesn't, then also no problem.
If you are ready to find the answer to this question
What is this setup trying to teach me?
